Cracked tubing generally occurs due to environmental factors such as heat exposure and by being placed around the users neck when not in use. To assist with the prevention of this issue, it is advised that the stethoscope is not worn around the users neck unless shielded by a collar and we advise that it is to be stored in an area with a temperature no greater then room temperature.
